Milla, Francisco Santiago (1864-ante 1932)

Vida

Francisco Santiago Milla y Plaza fue un maestro de educación primaria nacido en Valdeavellano de Tera (Soria) en 1864. Desarrolló su  actividad docente en Arnedo (La Rioja) entre 1902 y 1918, donde compaginó su trabajo en la escuela pública con el de su academia privada. En 1918 fue trasladado a Vitoria (Álava), de la que regresó apenas unos años más tarde, pues en 1925 vuelve a situarse en La Rioja, concretamente en Logroño, firmando como secretario las actas de la asociación de maestros de la ciudad. Falleció poco antes de 1932, fecha en la que su viuda figura como pensionista en la prensa de la época.

Milla compuso una ortografía didáctica destinada a los niveles más elementales titulada Clave ortográfica. Se trata de un manual en el que se combina la teoría, expuesta según el modelo erotemático, y la aplicación práctica a través de ejercicios guiados. Por otra parte, destaca la abundante nómina de ejemplos en los que apoya sus reglas ortográficas, ya sea a continuación de estas, en tablas de voces homónimas o en catálogos de voces ordenadas alfabéticamente.

  • Clave ortográfica. Estudio de la ortografía por nuevo y sencillo procedimiento. Catálogos abreviados que permiten resolver a primera vista cualquiera duda ortográfica. Destinada a los centros de primera y segunda enseñanza, escritorios, etc., Imprenta de Bonifacio Pérez, Arnedo, 1905.

The browser

The BVFE regurlaly publishes new bibliographical recordsLatest bibliographical records. Our team is constantly searching for new entries. We choose our content meticulously and verify our links regularly.

Several times a month

We add new content several times a month. We gradually add more content to existing entries, and likewise add more categories and subcategories as future needs require reclassification.

Printing bibliographical records

All of the bibliographical recordsImprimir registro de la Biblioteca Virtual de la Filología Española that are in the BVFE can be printed. Click on the "Print" button located below each record. A new window will open with the content of the file ready for printing.

Printing the works

The BVFE does not own the intellectual property rights to the entries, it only selects, organizes and indicates the sites where they are located. As such, it is impossible to print the copies from the BVFE. You must agree to the legal conditions of the websites that contain the copies.

Extensions

We are currently devising several extensions for the website. We will gradually integrate upgrades and more functions. The BVFE welcomes any suggestions that our users may have.

Submission of new URLs

Clicking on the + sign located on the dropdown tab at the top of the website Refer a URL or make a suggestion will take you to a form that has a field where you can send a URL address that has not yet been included in the BVFE. It is simple to use: just indicate the URL of the entry and we will do the rest, after completing the corresponding checks.
